A calmer place to arrive

Cherry blossoms.
Wild survival.

Looking for a Minecraft survival server with a Japanese-inspired spawn? Oxbow's Hanami hub is a protected river sanctuary: cherry trees, timber buildings and torii frame the start of your next adventure. Outside the hub, this is survival PvP with raiding — not a no-grief town server.

What the protected hub means

First-time players arrive in Hanami. PvP and block breaking are off inside the protected hub, so take a moment to look around, read the rules and find your bearings. /spawn brings you back; returning players normally keep their saved location.

The protection is a boundary, not a server-wide promise. In the survival overworld, Nether and End there are no land claims. Other players can find your base, fight and raid. If you want a permanently protected survival plot, Oxbow isn't that kind of server.

Your first walk through Hanami

Join the cherry-blossom hub

  1. Open a licensed copy of Minecraft: Java Edition 26.2.
  2. Choose Multiplayer → Add Server.
  3. Enter play.oxbowmc.com as the address, save and join. The default port is 25565; no port is needed in the address.

Joining and playing are free, with no whitelist or trial clock. This is Java only: Bedrock and offline-mode accounts aren't supported. A Japanese-inspired build doesn't mean a Japanese-language community or a Japan-hosted service.

Photograph it, don't grief it

You're welcome to make original screenshots and videos of your visit. Hide player names when possible, ask before recording voices, and don't publish private chat. The press kit includes approved images; the free Creator program recognizes genuine Oxbow videos.
